Star Newspaper has come up with a headline showing that President Ruto has an upper hand over Kalonzo Musyoka. The headline shows that Ruto has 9.2 million votes compared to Kalonzo’s 8.4 million votes. The headline indicates that Ruto will win in Nyanza,Western,Coast,Rift Valley and North Eastern.
But based on our own analysis,Ruto won’t win 100% votes in Rift Valley,Western,Nyanza and Coast. In Coast,over 40% of the votes will go to Kalonzo because of the Kikuyu,Kisii and Kamba votes. In Nakuru County,half of the votes will go to Kalonzo because of the Kikuyu and Kisii votes. In western Kenya,the votes will be split because majority of the Luhya are supporting opposition.
