Major Silvia Jemutai was officially promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army during a heartfelt ceremony held on 14 November 2025 at Fort Lee, Virginia.

Silvia will be earning a monthly salary of Ksh 800,000 to Ksh1.2 million per month.She will be among the highest paid Army officers in the US.
