Geoffrey Kariuki Kayai is a happy man after conning Kenyans a lot of money. The Kenyan man claimed to be living abroad and helping poor Kenyans. He would post photos of him in abroad and in most cases pretending to be in theatre room. Kenyans fell for his tricks.
After posting the photos, he would then seek anyone wanting help to contact him. Later, he will ask money from the victims to solve emergency issues.
After conning Kenyans for long, someone posted on Smart Girl Facebook page claiming how he had conned them. Several other people came forward and confessed that he had conned them money too.
It later emerged that he was using photoshop to clone pictures online. The image of being in USA were so convincing that no Kenyan questioned his integrity.
Those who know him exposed that he lives in Rongai and sometimes in Thika. He is just a common Kenyan who is trying to make ends meet by conning other Kenyans.
