I have used Prestige Shuttle today from Nairobi to Nakuru and they are charging Ksh1000 per passenger. Normally,they charge Ksh 700. The fare prices will remain high over the festive season until mid January. Mololine also charges Ksh 1000 at the moment.
The people travelling from Nairobi to Nakuru from 22nd to 25 will be many. If you are one of them,make sure you arrive at the stage early. You should also ensure that you have Ksh1000 in the pocket.
2NK is also charging Ksh1000 ,same to other shuttles.
Fare from Nakuru to Nairobi at the moment is Ksh500 to Ksh700. From 23 until 25 it will be lower than Ksh400. This is because vehicles are rushing to Nairobi to carry passengers.
From 26 until January 10,fare prices from Nakuru to Nairobi will be high while from Nairobi to Nakuru will be lower.
