Edwin Sifuna had a rally in Kitengela on 15/2/2026. The rally was attended by the sea of humanity. This was Sifuna’s first rally after being dropped as the ODM Secretary General.
The government and ODM led by Oburu Odinga were watching to see how many people will attend Sifuna’s rally. Shockingly, more than 80,000 people attended. Then came the Tononoka Rally, people had to be paid to attend.
Robert Alai has confirmed that the Sifuna’s rally was huge. He went ahead to state that Raila used to pull such crowds but never won any election.
Several bloggers allied to the government have been unleashed to downplay the Sifuna rally. They claim that even with crowds, nobody can defeat president Ruto in 2027.
It’s now evident that Oburu’s faction is less popular among Kenyans. Political analysts advise them to quickly negotiate with Ruto before they are given a raw deal. Ruto might go for Sifuna’s side and negotiate with them.
