A 22-year-old Kenyan man living in Perth has been extradited to South Australia to face a murder charge linked to the death of 24-year-old Caleb Leriano.
The suspect, Alan Kiplimo, appeared before the Perth Magistrates Court on Friday after he was arrested earlier in the day in Perth’s northeastern suburbs. During the court session, Kiplimo did not seek bail, and the court approved an interstate extradition request submitted by authorities from South Australia.
Kiplimo went to Australia for studies but he didn’t complete. He started drinking alcohol and dropped out of school. A small argument resulted to the death of the other Kenyan.
