Prisca Chemutai Bett is the mother of Abby the daughter of William Ruto. Abby was born in 2006 and she is now 20 years old. Prisca works as ECDE teacher at Kesses. She met Ruto in 2005 through a friend. That time,Ruto was Eldoret North MP while Prisca was studying at Moi University.
Abby later joined Alliance High School after excelling in her KCPE exams.
In February 2017, Prisca Chemutai Bett sued William Ruto, then Deputy President, claiming he had neglected their daughter, Abby Cherop Ruto, born in 2006.
Prisca said Ruto provided for her during her pregnancy but stopped supporting her and their child after he became Deputy President in 2013.
