Esther Musila is going through a lot after being taken to court over property inheritance. Esther has been spending money left by her late husband Erick Kiptanui Naibei. Eric died in 2016 and left properties worth hundreds of millions of Kenyan shillings. Since that time, she has been running the estates left by the husband.
Her son, Gideon Mullan, had requested to inherit a share of the father’s estate but Esther refused. She argued that Mullan is a drug addict and not in his right mind to manage someone’s property. Court was prompted to examine Mullan to determine that he is of sound mind. The result proved that he is okay and does not abuse drugs.
Mullan argued that Esther was married to another man,Gardian Angel ,after the death of her husband. When a woman gets another husband,she is taken care of that husband. The son further said that if his mother inherits all the property,the new husband might inherit it and the children will be the losers. He wants Esther to surrender the property to her sons.
Court will rule of the matter.
