Health CS Aden Duale has said that it’s not a must for the government to consult Kenyans on the Ebola facility in Laikipia. Duale said that already the facility has been established to deal with the deadly disease. Duale also confirmed that there are 23 facilities countrywide.
The Kenyan government received Ksh1.9 billion from the US government to establish Ebola quarantine facility in Laikipia for Americans who contract the disease in Congo.
The government has also clarified that the facility in Laikipia will also be used to treat Kenyans who contract the disease.
