Radio presenter Maina Kageni has revealed that he pays his house help Ksh50,000 salary per month. Maina claimed that the house help has his own pay slip and he pays tax like government employees.

Maina Kageni is the highest paid radio presenters in Kenya with a salary of Ksh 1.8 million.
Maina revealed the details after Alfred Mutua revealed that the government has raised minimum wage for house helps to Ksh18,000. Mutua warned that anybody who fails to pay his or her house help at least Ksh18,000 will be jailed for 3 months or get fined Ksh 50,000.
