COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has told Sifuna that he doesnโt have any money to run for president in 2027. Sifuna has also answered him. Here is what they told each other:
“I have been telling this boy, Sifuna, that he cannot be President without money, but he looks ignorant. He thinks being President is like a walk in the park. I am ready to help him raise money for his campaign. He should remember that he cannot be President without my endorsement. I own the key to Western votes. Whoever I endorse from Western should win the presidency in 2027.” Francis Atwoli
Sifuna has also answered Atwoli. Here is what the Senator told him:
“Bwana Atwoli, I don’t want your money, please, old man. I would rather be indebted to 10 million Kenyans, each of whom gave me 10 shillings, than to one person who gave me Ksh 1 billion and Kenyan workers are suffering under his watch.”
