Former Churchill Show comedian Gilbert Baraza aka Mtumishi spent over Ksh1m educating his wife. He got her few years after she had completed high school. Being a good man,he decided to take her to the university. The wife, Fridah Kathambi went through the university and graduated.
Immediately after graduation, Mtumishi used his connections to look for a job for her. She got a job with a salary of Ksh80,000 per month. That time Mtumishi was doing well financially, he was paying rent of Ksh60,000. Few months later,he started struggling financially. He suggested that they move to a cheaper house,Ksh30,000 rent. The wife objected the move.
They continued to live together as Mtumishi struggled. One day,the wife decided to move out and go to live alone.Mtumishi was stressed until he was about to end his own life.
The wife left with Mtumishi’s child. Mtumishi revealed that 3 years,he has only seen his child thrice. He has been living depressed.The wife got married elsewhere and she now has three children.
