Law Professor Makau Mutua has been exposed by long serving bodyguard of Raila Odinga. The bodyguard claims that in 2023,Makau Mutua did something terrible that compromised the security of Raila.
He reveals that Professor Makau seriously compromised their efforts during the 2023 Azimio protests. Ogeta states that they had received intelligence from a reliable source about planned attacks and were strategizing on how to avoid them. However, someone was live-streaming from the car without his knowledge.
“To this day, I’m not sure if I have forgiven him. Why? He was in our boss’s car during the demonstration, recording live what was happening and documenting the coordination inside the vehicle. When you’re broadcasting live, both friends and enemies can see it. I was shocked to receive calls from people in the US and South Africa informing me that my actions were being scrutinized. I asked what they were talking about, and when I turned around, I realized it was Professor Makau,” he says.
After the protests,Prof Mutua was appointed by William Ruto as his advisor,he is now working at State House.
