CORD coalition, led by Raila Odinga, were given a go ahead by the police to hold a rally at Uhuru Park on Madaraka day, little did they know what would befall them.
Latest news indicates that Raila will not address the nation from the famous ground because there is an evangelist who had booked the venue earlier. Evangelist Lucy wa Ngunjiri ,founder of prayers beyond boundaries ministries ,will hold one of the largest prayer meetings of all times at Uhuru Park from 31st May to 3rd June starting 1pm daily, The rally will be attended by musician, Rose Muhando.
Lucy, who is known for her powerful sermons, has invited CORD and other Kenyans to the venue for prayers.
Sources also say Kibera, Kasarani, Nyayo and all stadia in Nairobi are booked, causing more panic among CORD leaders.
