Breaking news from Nairobi indicates that President Uhuru Kenyatta is currently holding a meeting with CORD leaders, Moses Wetangula and Raila Odinga.
The meeting, which started at around 11.30 am, is expected to address the issue of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) as well as the two rallies scheduled for tomorrow.
In the meeting, a decision will be arrived on how to reform IEBC, and there are high chances the commissioners will be given their dues before they resign.
The President alongside his deputy, Ruto, decided to allow dialogue so as to avoid further bloodshed.
It is understood that CORD had indicated that their weekly demonstrations would go on after the 10 days ultimatum elapses.
