The deadly terror group, Alshabaab, has killed 5 Kenyan police officers in Mandera.
The group killed the officers using a rocket-propelled grenade.
The officers were escorting a Makkah bus which was heading Nairobi when their vehicle was attacked and destroyed completely.
This is the second time the Makkah bus is being attacked. In December 2015, gunmen attacked a bus belonging to the same company between Kotulo and Dabasiti in Mandera at 7am. The bus had stopped over at Kutulo Wajir following a ban on night travel in the region.
