Wiper Leader, Kalonzo Musyoka is expected to leave CORD and join the ruling party, Jubilee.Kalonzo, who has promised, “unless he is CORD’s flag bearer, he will quit CORD coalition”,is expected to join Jubilee in March this year.
Sources within Wiper Party informs us that Kalonzo will go to the highest bidder, and since Raila is broke, he won’t afford him. In his recent comment, the former Vice President said,”I am ready to sacrifice my presidential ambitions”, implying that he will cross over to Jubilee as an ordinary politician and later be appointed a Cabinet Secretary.
Our mole at ODM reveals that Kalonzo has declared he will not settle for less.He is determined to become the flag bearer in CORD and he doesn’t want to be used by Raila.The mole further says that since Mudavadi started courting Raila, Kalonzo has become restless. The Wiper leader is not the jovial Kalonzo we used to know.
We are also informed that in order to have a leader of Kalonzo’s caliber, Jubilee must break the bank. The amount required to have him in their side is in the tune of Ksh2 billion, but this amount is a drop in the ocean for Jubilee.
What is preventing Kalonzo from throwing mud at Raila at this time is the picking of CORD flag bearer, which is expected to happen early March.Afterwards, Kalonzo will show his true colours.
