After he was denied an opportunity to address the congregation at a church in Huruma Estate, Peter Kenneth, a Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant stormed out of the church.

The presiding bishop stopped him from using the church to campaign for his political bid.

His team had earlier on taken to social media to flaunt that he would be attending a church service at Redeemed Gospel Church in Huruma. This was definitely an embarrassing moment for them. However, he played cool and went ahead to address journalists outside the church. PK talked about his readiness for the Jubillee party nominations.

The former presidential aspirant will be facing Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko for the party nominations.

Several individuals thereafter took to social media to congratulate the bishop for his bold move and for not entertaining politics at the holy altar. They went ahead to say the church should not be an avenue for political campaigns and many more church pastors should learn from this incident.
