Jaguar is definitely one of the richest musicians in Kenya. The man, who hails from Central Kenya possesses a secondary certificate and his grade was C-.Many Kenyans wonder how this man made his money, given that he was in rags as of 2000.

Jaguar’s wealthy is estimated to be in excess of Ksh 500 million. The artiste owns a Ksh40 million house in his backyard. He owns a Jaguar, Range Rover and other top of the range cars. I hear he is planning to buy a house in Runda.

The Kigeugeu hit maker is planning to vie for Starehe parliamentary seat this year, a position that has attracted activist Boniface Mwangi. But he is currently facing a serious allegation which involves an accident that ended the lives of two people.

Jaguar’s journey to greatness started early 2000 when he finally settled in Eastlands Nairobi. At that time, the singer had few thousands in his pocket. After spending few days in Nairobi, Jaguar became a tout, and this is where he learnt the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. His interactions with the likes of Sonko and like-minded friends exposed him to several well-paying businesses

The first business Jaguar owned in Nairobi was a garage. This is the same business which ensured he met famous businessmen in Nairobi. But in the process, he was arrested and imprisoned in one of the cells in Nairobi for allegedly being involved in drugs. He was released later.

Stars started aligning towards the singer late 2000 when he joined the music industry. By 2010,he was famous enough to receive endorsements from corporates.

It was in 2013 when President Kenyatta recognized him (Jaguar) and requested him to join his campaign team. Jaguar was rewarded handsomely and later appointed a board member of NACADA,a body that fights drug abuse and alcoholism.

Jaguar’s success is attributed to music and his association with Sonko and Uhuru’s close allies. The man is now a force to reckon with and a top earner among the Kenyan musicians. He ranks highly in terms of wealth.
