TCL TV in Kenya Reviews-Advantages and Disadvantages

2303

Many Kenyans have asked about TCL TV in Kenya. They actually want to know their advantages and disadvantages and make their minds whether to buy or not.

As someone who has owned TCL-I own one even to date-I believe you will like and dislike some of the reviews of this television.

Before you purchase an item, here are the things to consider:

  • Brand
  • Price
  • Quality
  • Company selling the product
  • Negative reviews

If you do your research, you will find out that TCL is one of the few TV brands in Kenya that have few negative reviews. People talk good of this television, except a few who in one way or another didn’t have nice experience. Personally, if I am told to rate it, I would give the brand 98 %.

The price of TCL TV is reasonable and relatively fair compared to Sony and Samsung.at Jumia, a digital TCL TV of 32 inch goes for Ksh 18,000-Ksh 21,000.The 32 inch TV is the most common as many buyers believe the size is ideal. Those who purchase 24 inch pay as little as Ksh14, 000.There is other sizes, which include 43 inch 49 and 55 inch-they are priced above Ksh 30,000 but obvious cheaper than Sony and Samsung televisions.

What most people don’t understand is that despite being not common in many households, people who have been convinced to purchase TCL will never drop the brand for other companies.TCL has quality images, and all the features you would need in a TV.

Just like Sony televisions, TCL has both smart and digital televisions. Smart televisions are those that allow you to stream videos through the internet. In most cases, smart televisions cost slightly more than the normal digital televisions. I always advise that you buy smart TV if you are fond of streaming videos especially from Netflix and YouTube.

Finally, given Samsung, TCL, Sony and LG, would you pick TCL against other brands? My answer is a big yes. You see, there is no need of paying Ksh33, 000 for a Sony TV when you can spend Ksh19, 000 on TCL and get the same services as you would get from Sony.

With money on your hands, where would you buy the TV from? If you are ready to buy a TV and you are in Nairobi, I suggest you order from Jumia or visit Luthuli Avenue—don’t buy from the supermarket or Masoko because they are expensive. If you prefer buying online, here is a link to Jumia website (click here to buy)
