There is total darkness in Nairobi and other major towns. The Kenya Power has issued a statement regarding the outage.
Here is the statement:
“A power system disturbance has led to loss of electricity supply to some parts of Nairobi and adjacent areas.
Kenya Power Engineers are battling to identify the fault and restore power supply as quickly as possible”
The blackout started 6pm and has since persisted. We are waiting….
