I am Njoroge from kiambu.I have issues In need help from you.Ever since I married my wife ,I haven’t felt this low.We have been living in harmony since 2010 but things are changing now.
My wife works at an NGO and I am a cashier in a supermarket. I studied BCom from KU and my wife pursued Human Resources Management from UoN.It happened that I was the first one to secure employment in Tuskys supermarket. My wife stayed for four years without a job and she finally landed work at an NGO in Westlands.My initial salary in 2011 was Ksh30,000 and it has been increasing annually, I now earn Ksh48,200.My wife’s starting salary was Ksh85,000.But she recently got a promotion to the position of Head of Human Resources and she earns Ksh305,000.
Ever since she showed me her new payslip,I feel useless. To add salt into injury, she bought a Toyota Prado last month. The situation worsened last month when she told me to look for a bigger house.I currently pay Ksh12,000 as rent but she wants to live in Westlands where monthly rent ranges from Ksh30,000 to Ksh50,000.
My wife has been good to me,she has supported me before but her recent moves left me worried.I love her so much and I can take a bullet for her.But her success is really intimidating to the point I don’t wish to see her.I am contemplating divorcing her because the way I see,we aren’t going to live in peace.Is it good to apply for divorce?
