This is How to Own a Blog in Tanzania even With the New Regulations

38

There are many ways of cheating Tanzanian authority as a blogger. I will tell how you can own a successful blog while living and working in Tanzania.

As you know, the government has ordered bloggers to shut down their blogs if they don’t adhere to the new blogging law. The law requires every blogger with a live website to pay the government $900 or close the blog. Since most bloggers can’t afford the money, they have opted to close their blogs.

For you to avoid being caught, make sure you own a .com blog that’s not registered in Tanzania.I suggest you register via this link

After registration, hide the identity of the owner. The amount required for this feature is $15 to $20 annually. Then use virtual Private Network. The good thing about virtual private network is that the government is not able to trace you—you’ll bypass government restrictions.

Since the government will be strict on bloggers, you should ensure your blog operates from neighbouring countries like Kenya or Uganda. If possible, set up an office in Kenya or Uganda and send your content to a person you have assigned duties to post from Kenya or Uganda.I suggest you collaborate with a popular blogger from Kenya or Tanzania such that you pay them monthly fees for posting the content on your blog.

If you don’t follow this advise, the government will close in on you.I strongly recommend that you don’t register your blog in Tanzania.
