A middle aged Kenyan man will be buried soon after he committed suicide following Arsenal’s loss to Bate Borisov.
Duncan had accumulated Ksh 60,000 for his business when he thought of adding more notes through the Arsenal game.At 8 pm he loaded his betting account with Ksh 20,000 and placed a bet of Ksh20,000 for Arsenal win.After 42 minutes,Arsenal was humbled with one goal.
Sensing that Arsenal might not win,Duncan deposited another Ksh 20,000 and placed a bet of “next team to score”, he indicated Arsenal.He waited for 70 minutes and nothing was forthcoming. Confused, he again loaded his account with Ksh 20,000 and placed a bet of over 1.5 goals.
After 89 minutes,his lower abdomen started producing gas–which which was forced out in droves,his lips became heavy and eyes big.Duncan didn’t believe his eyes as Arsenal struggled not to concede another goal(s).The last whistle came which found Duncan sweating like a pig—he has lost Ksh60,000.
At Kakamega, villagers found a man hanging from a tree and it was Duncan. Burial arrangements are underway.
