Alfred Mutua’s first wife is called Dr Josephine Thitu.The highly educated lady got married to Mutua on 1st July 2OOO at Nairobi Baptist Ngong Road in a church ceremony. They are blessed with three children, a boy and twins.
Alfred Mutua divorced Dr Josephine Thitu immediately he became the Governor of Machakos.He went ahead to marry Lilian Nganga who later separated with him for musician Juliani.
Dr Josephine pursued a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Washington State University. She is currently serving as the Program Director of an NGO in Kenya.
In 2018,Dr Josephine won a case seeking ownership of property worth millions. The multimillion property was also being claimed by Alfred Mutua.
Ever since they went separate ways,Mutua and his wife have never reconciled.
