Mutahi Robert is a happy man after a police who stole Ksh1030 from him was arrested.
Narrating the ordeal,Mutahi thanked the IG for helping him deal with the police.Below is the full story from the victim:
:This evening I received a call from the Kiambu County Police Commander, a Mr. Ali Nuno regarding my brush with the some rogue officers on the night of 12th August, last week.
He informed me that the case had been picked by the Police IG who instructed that the concerned officers get to the bottom of the matter.
Today morning, the County Commander swore an affidavit, sought the legal channels and obtained all the Mpesa Statements from Safaricom PLC .
By close of business today, the police officer who handled my phone and transfered the money was arrested, while the investigating officers were pursuing the others.
Also arrested were an Mpesa Agent whose Mpesa shop was used to withdraw the money, his 4 employees.
