NIS and KDF have warned Kenyans against shouting Ruto Must Go. The two security organs warned yesterday and said that it’s a security threat. They argued that it’s Kenyans who elected Ruto, they should wait until 2027 to vote him out. They further said that the role of NIS and KDF is to safeguard the constitution and protect the government in power.

This comes few days after Raila Odinga claimed that he saved President Ruto from being overthrown. Raila, who was defeated in 2022, took advantage of the Gen Z protests to join government. He is now one of the most powerful figures in government.

Over the past few weeks, Kenyans have been chanting Ruto Must go. The recent case was in Nyayo Stadium where the entire stadium started chanting the song. The same case applies in pubs and any other event where people are gathering.

Kenyans are generally not happy with the way the president is running the affairs of the country. Singing Ruto must go is the expression of their frustrations.
