For the past 2 weeks Raila has been missing from the public. Kenyans are asking, where is Raila? Sources close to him indicate that Raila was advised by doctors to take a rest. His health and memory had started deteriorating. A few weeks ago while in a function, he was unable to walk and a car was brought near him.
Raila has been struggling to walk in public as witnessed by Kenyans—this is due to his old age. Even as his age advances, other politicians are taking advantage of his influence to gain popularity. President Ruto hopes that Raila will live beyond 2027 in order to support his presidential re-election.
Raila is now aged 80 years and in 2027 he will be aged 83 years. Mathematically,he won’t be able to become the president considering how fast he is losing memory and health.
