I live with my single mother in Thika in the same house.
I am 26 years old and just completed college from Mount Kenya University.
Last year,I introduced my boyfriend of three years to my dear mother but what happened next left me in tears.
I remember it was a Friday evening when he came in a black Mercedes Benz and my mother got extremely excited-she rarely smile but that day we could see she was jovial.
After the meeting,they exchanged numbers and my boyfriend left.
I used to know my mother’s boyfriend and I remember he used to call her at 8 pm every day but after meeting my boyfriend,I started noticing she was receiving strange calls even during the day.
I became so suspicious when she started mentioning the name of my boyfriend almost every day.I decided to follow up through scrolling through her phone.That was when I realized they were exchanging messages.
When I asked her,she told me my boyfriend has accepted to marry her and if I feel offended I better leave the house.
I didn’t have money to rent a house,instead I decided to live with my mother.
Now what is making me annoyed is that they sometimes sleep together in the house and at night I hear what happens in my mother’s room.they are not even ashamed,my boyfriend even ignores me completely.
I am really suffering and bleeding inside.I have contemplated committing suicide but I have decided to eliminate one of them.
what can I do to get peace.I am really disturbed.
