William Ruto was in Bondo recently and his remarks over Kalonzo did not go well with some quarters.In his speech, the DP told Raila to blame Kalonzo for his 2013 presidential loss,he further warned the former prime minister against picking Kalonzo as his running mate in 2017.
It seems Ruto’s words were stinging like bees to Muthama;he has been thinking about the issue day and night and on Thursday an opportunity presented itself during the funeral of his uncle Mwanzia Kimomo.During the event,Muthama accused Ruto of belittling Kalonzo and assured the DP that CORD will win the 2017 elections in broad daylight.
The Machakos senator said that Ruto is attacking Kalonzo because he fears the former VP will win the 2017 elections because Raila is likely to support him for the highest seat.
