Laura Akunga surprised entire world when she bought her husband Sh.10 Million car as birthday gift.Kenyans praised her for the bold move and encouraged other ladies to follow suite.
But days later the Nairobian carried a story where they described how Laura Akunga obtained a loan from Family Bank and defaulted.
The magazine further explained how Laura obtained Sh.17M from a businessman but failed to return the money as agreed.The businessman later sued her and the case is in court.
On Wednesday Family Bank wrote to Standard Media Group demanding an apology before 10th July,2015 .The bank claimed that the story which was featured in their weekly magazine was not factual.
