Turkana MP James Lomenen made history when he led the police and his community members in battling bandits who had stole their flock.The MP who was armed with with an AK47 was leading from the front and he was over heard encouraging members in his group to push to the dangerous areas.
When they finally caught up with the bandits,a fierce fight ensued which lasted for three hours.Finally,they managed to recover all the stolen livestock and happily returned them to the owners.
Turkana is a very dangerous area and any coward will not set foot there.In 2012 more than forty police officers lost their lives in the Suguta Valley when they were on a mission to recover stolen livestock.
