Judith Nyambura aka Avril repented her sins on Saturday at the Catholic University of East Africa.
The singer who repeated the sinner’s prayer during a campus event at the University was overwhelmed with emotions.
Avril later promised to do a collabo with Tanzanian gospel artiste Christina Shusho late this year.
The event which was also attended by Johnson Mwakazi and Citizen TV’s Kanze Dena drew a huge crowd that was eager to witness the musician repenting.
A trend has emerged in Kenya where secular artistes get born again so as to start singing gospel songs. It’s believed that corporates often prefer gospel artistes to secular ones because their message is well received by people of all ages.
