Popular TV personality Jeff Koinange is smiling all the way to the bank after landing a lucrative deal with giant brewers East African Breweries Limited.
The former CNN reporter, whose voice is a brand, was paid millions to appear on EABL advert which runs for just a minute.
Jeff hosts the popular program Jeff Koinange Live at KTN where he interviews celebrities and popular personalities from the region. It is believed that he earns over Ksh500, 000 per month, which is slightly less than what he used to earn at CNN.
Though he was fired from CNN, Jeff got a soft landing in Kenya where he worked at K24 before moving to South Africa and finally back to Kenya.
The deal is likely to open more opportunities for him as he tries to position himself as a better brand than the brand itself.
