Nairobi based Lawyer Geoffrey Oriaro was found dead on Wednesday morning in a swimming pool at Beach Seafront Chalet Hotel, Mombasa.
His body was found lying in a pool at 4 am by pool attendant who were doing routine cleaning.
Family members were called to collect the body which they later took to Pandya Memorial Hospital mortuary awaiting post-mortem.
Mr Oriaro is the one who filed a petition that forced Chairman Mumo Matemu and his deputy, Irene Keino out of Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) offices.
