Facebook Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said that over one billion people used Facebook in a single day on Monday.
He further revealed that 1 in every 7 people in the world logged in to Facebook to connect to their friends and family members.
Facebook was launched in 2004 and since then it has grown exponentially, surpassing companies like IBM and Google in revenues.
Every month, 1.5 billion users log in to Facebook at least once and the number is growing each day.
“This was the first time we reached this milestone, and it’s just the beginning of connecting the whole world,” said Zuckerberg.
When Facebook was introduce it changed the way people communicate,thus bringing a new, fast and reliable means of sharing information.
