Former radio presenter Simon Njoroge drowned on Saturday in Mbudya Island, off the Dar es Salaam coast in Tanzania.
Njoroge is also a rapper whose stage name is Shrekeezy died while swimming in the deep sea due to heavy tides.
His last Facebook post reads,โ The boatride from #WhiteSandsHotel to #MbudyaIsland is the scariest thing Iโve experienced in a long time. But we hereโฆ #TanzaniaDay8.โ
Shrekeezy has been working as a Digital Brand Strategist with Heineken; he has also worked as a radio presenter at Hero Radio Kenya.
