President Uhuru Kenyatta has sacked Deputy Police Commissioner Grace Kaindi and replaced her with Joel Kitili who has been the General Service Unit Police Commandant.
While making the changes, the President argued that there has been growing concern over insecurity in the country and the changes are part of the ongoing police reforms.
Grace Kaindi becomes the third Senior Security Officer to be fired after Ole Lenku and David Kimaiyo who were also blamed for not preventing frequent terrorist attacks in the country.
The Police force has new bosses, Joseph Nkaiseri and Joseph Boinett who replaced Lenku and Kimaiyo in 2014.
