Barely 24 hours since ISIS did what can be described as the worst terror attack in French soil, France has resorted to go offensive.
On Sunday, France sent 10 jets to the volatile Islamic State, which immediately unleashed several attacks which resulted to the destruction of a command centre and jihadi training camp in ISIS stronghold Raqqa
The attack, which took place at around 7.50 p.m, led to the death of several ISIS fighters who were planning a fight in the city.
“The raid… including 10 fighter jets, was launched simultaneously from the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Twenty bombs were dropped’, read a statement from French defense ministry
The attack was motivated by Saturday’s terror attack at the French capital Paris, which killed over 153 innocent people in different locations. Later, the French government vowed to crush the ISIS group after the deadly terrorist group claimed responsibility.
It is a matter of time before the group becomes past tense. Sources indicate that America, Britain and Russia will all camp in Syria to clear the group before it spreads to unlikely areas.
