Tanzaniaโs President John Pombe Magufuli has named new cabinet, ending speculation over who could be considered for the 18 slots up for grabs.
The no nonsense leader surprised many as he named 6 women into the cabinet but announced that he could not get credible names to fill all the 18 vacancies.
Things are finally looking good for women in Tanzania as Magufuli indicated that women will form part of his agenda. His Deputy President is a woman, Samia Suluhu.
Since his election, he has attracted admiration from all over the world. He is a man in a mission, with his slogan โhapa kazi tuโ.If he continue working with the same spirit, Tanzania could be improve significantly.
