Chelsea have confirmed Guus Hiddink their new manager after sacking Jose Mourinho on Thursday 17, 2015.

Mourinho was sacked after losing 9 games and failing to inspire the team to challenge their rivals.

Roman Abramovich took the decision to replace Mourinho with Guus Hiddink, whom he believes could lead Chelsea to winning trophies.

Hiddink has been in Charge of Chelsea before. In 2009 he took temporary charge of the Blues when Luis Felipe Scolari was sacked and won the FA Cup.

He began his career with PSV Eindhoven where he won six Dutch titles and the European Cup. He has also managed South Korea, Russia, Real Madrid, Netherlands twice, Australia, Turkey, and a number of other clubs.

Hiddink, one of the most decorated managers in Europe, will have to wait till end of the season to know his fate at Chelsea. The seat has attracted top managers like Diego Simeon and Pep Guardiola, whose profiles are equally excellent.
