Popular musician Diana Chelele was laid to rest on Thursday at her home in Kapkwen.
Diana’s funeral was attended by a host of leaders including Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto, Kuresoi MP Zakayo Cheruiyot among others. Also present were several local artistes.
The funeral did not end well as moaners turned rowdy, demanding the arrest of those involved in the musician’s murder.
Diana was found murdered at her home on January 9, 2016.
Initial investigation linked her husband Erick Musila to the murder. He was arrested last week alongside a woman whose phone was used to lay a trap for the musician.
Musila and Diana never tested the beauty of marriage as wrangles dominated their relationship.
