Football Kenya Federation Chairman Sam Nyamweya has stepped down.

The outgoing FKF president stepped down while making his final speech just before the elections.

Nyamweya made the announcement amid cheers and jeers from the crowd after leading the Football Kenya Federation for years without bringing significant changes to the nation’s football.

The race to succeed Nyamweya has now been left to Ambrose Rachier and Nick Mwendwa, after Gor Semelango stepped down earlier today.

FKF election will be held today at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani and the winner will be announced after all the delegates cast their votes.
