A 33-year-old Nigerian woman is undergoing treatment after she swallowed a wedding ring during Valentine’s Day.
The woman had planned to visit her sister in upcountry but when she arrived at the stage, she was informed that her sister was on the way to Lagos. She decided to abort the journey and wait for her in Lagos.
After meeting the sister, she started the journey back home. But she was shocked that her husband had been eating forbidden fruit without her knowledge.
When I knocked at the door, I found no one was ready to open for me, I decided to push it hard, only to find my husband on top of our maid on the sofa set”, explained the woman.
Fight ensued between the two, which resulted to the woman taking off her wedding ring and swallowing it.She then decided to end the marriage.
