William Ruto’s close ally, Oscar Sudi, has defected from Jubilee Party to KANU
The Kapseret MP announced his defection on Friday in Kericho amid cheers from a sea of humanity.
“When you will see me campaigning in Kericho don’t question my support for DP Ruto, we just want to send a message to the powers that be that as leaders from Rift Valley we are disappointed over unfulfilled promises,” Sudi said
Oscar claimed the Jubilee government has failed to honour its promises, and people are extremely disappointed with its leadership. He added that the Kericho by election will be a protest against the government for sidelining the region since the sitting government assumed power.
Other Rift valley legislators who defected during the function include Emurua Dikir MP Ngong Ngeno, Kuresoi South MP ZK Cheruiyot, Kericho govenor Chepkwony, Bomet Govenor Isaac Rutto among others.
