The NYS scandal is becoming a monster! Former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru has dragged three of the most influential figures of URP side of the government, Duale,Kibet and Murkomen into NYS scandal.
In a signed affidavit, Waiguru claims that Parliament Majority Leader Duale tried to block investigation into the scam because he was aware of the role he played in the scandal.Murkomen was also accused of taking part in stealing billions of money from the organization.
Aden Duale has however distanced himself from the matter, claiming that Anne Waiguru wants to go down with innocent people. He referred to her as someone who is desperate to remove herself from the scandal by trying to implicate Deputy President William Ruto.He advised the former CS to carry her own cross.
Details have emerged that more than Sh 1.6 billion might have been lost from NYS, and many government officials were involved.
