Internal Security Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery has given Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho few minutes to surrender all his guns before he sends the police to arrest him.Joho has however remained adamant, claiming that Nkaissery’s order amounts to harassment.
Nkaissery stated earlier that he could arrest Joho by 2 pm, but the warning fell on deaf ears.
CORD co-principals Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka have dared Nkaissery to arrest Joho and see repercussions.
Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu was also ordered to surrender his gun, but he refused to obey the order.
