Makerere University lecturer,Stella Nyanzi,has been suspended by the university management board.
The letter from the board read in parts:
Following the unfortunate incident of stripฮฒing by DR Stella Nyanzi, a member of the staff at MISR,the appointments board has held a meeting ย and considered the situation as well as the report of the committee set up by the Vice Chancellor .The board has resolved as followed:
1.To suspend Dr Stella Nyanzi from Makerere University service with immediate effect pending investigations.
2.To set up a committee of the appointments boardย to carry out in depth investigations into MISR issuesโ.
Which means Dr Stella Nyanzi is no longer Makerere University lecturer after doing what Lecturers should avoid at all costs.
