News just in indicates that Nairobi Senator,Mike Sonko,is planning to join Raila’s Party,CORD.
Venas News has learnt that Jubilee Party has settled on Dennis Waweru and Johnson Sakaja for Nairobi leadership, something that has made Sonko uncomfortable.
Having campaigned for the gubernatorial seat for four years, even introducing the famous ‘Sonko Rescue Team’, the Senator believes he is the right person to unseat Evans Kidero.He has ,therefore, decided to use any party willing to accommodate him, and he’s settled on CORD because of its popularity in the city.
As campaign for 2017 enters homestretch, Sonko has decided to look for a suitable political vehicle to take him to the destination. He believes, with the Luhya, Luo, Kamba, Kisii and Maasai votes in his pocket, he can easily clinch the seat.
The only obstacle for Sonko in CORD is Evans kidero,but since the Senator has good backing from the youth,kidero will get an uphill task during nominations.
