Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetangula,failed to name people who killed Jacob Juma during the slain billionaire’s burial in Bungoma.
People had waited with bathed breath to hear, for the first time, who planned, financed and shot the man who is now not with us, but Wetangula, being a Lawyer, knows the consequences of verbal diarrhea. The former Foreign Affairs Minister is a Lawyer and he is aware that his claims must be backed up with enough evidence, otherwise a court case, especially involving murder can end his career.
On Thursday, the police wrote to the Senator requiring him to record a statetement over his claims that Juma had intimated to him about the people who had planned to assassinate him. But Wetangula refused to obey the sermons and promised to keep his cool to avoid court drama.
